Hi, what pills do you take when having an attack?

John :)

None.

My first thought is to locate a bucket, not to search for a pill.

By that time it is too late.  I have been prescribed Buccastem 3mg but I never get the chance to take them.

Seems to work for me - sometimes I have to take a couple over a period of time, but they knock me out completely! Only way I can get sleep during an attack

No not all of my attacks make me sick I get a cycle so I get some that aren't too bad before I get the sickness so when I did have an attack in work it was ok to just let it pass. Although if I needed to in work I would without doubt xx

I take Buccastem which is prochlorperazine. I put the tab under my lip and if taken soon enough seems to help the sickness and vertigo.

Emma, do you take yours in a pill form then or is it a buccal tablet?

I find that prochiorperazine (2 tabs up to 3X per day) definately stop the nausea and stop or at least lessen the dizziness and falling over, but they make me so dopey - to the point of slurring my words when i speak, that i can't work anyway! Anyone else have this problem?
