Toothpaste problems?
« on: Mar 22 2012, 09:23 PM »
After using a particular brand of toothpaste (Arm & Hammer) I had my first and only drop attack. Afterwards I remembered that 6 months earlier I had had a vertigo attack after using the same brand of toothpaste (I usually use cheap Tesco value brand!). Arm & Hammer toothpaste seems basically to be a suspension of Bicarbonate of Soda, so high in sodium. I know many people who use this website don't believe in the low sodium link, but I usually follow a low salt diet and have been reasonably well since taking it seriously. I also had similar problems after using a nasal spray to ward off a cold which I discovered afterwards was full of sodium.
Has anyone else had a reaction to toothpaste and if so, is there a low sodium alternative?
