Help and advice needed
« on: Dec 18 2017, 05:09 PM »
Due to my menieres Iíve been having some days off work. I work at a local school which operates what is known as the Bradford scoring system for sickness, whereby once you go over a score of 150 your pulled in. Consequently Iíve gone well over this and have been issued a stage one notification.
I was asked if my menieres was classed as a disability as this would remove me from this system.
So my question is menieres classed as a disability?

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Yes.  If you go to the search bar and type in the word ďdisabilityĒ you should hopefully find enough posts to while away a long and cold winterís evening.

Good luck with your exclusion quest.  You are fortunate to be working in the public sector, where these sorts of concessions are funded by the taxpayer.

Thanks for the replyís. Today I was called in as HR had responded to the heads request asking if menieres is classed as a disability. Yes they recognise it as a disability therefore Iím exempt form the Bradford scoring system. One thing less to worry about.
